Kyara is a vibrant, conceptual hotel bar blending unconventional ingredients and classic cocktails. Minimalistic, uchronia inspired aesthetic explores a dystopian post-modern cocktail world where iconic classics are interpreted through a lens of unconventional ingredients.
Kyara serves drinks and you can’t get anywhere else; from sunset drinking all the way through the late-night party.
Martini Diagnosis
The room is dominated by a spectacular compounding room, with library of distillates, extracts, and accords, where our cocktail recipes are formulated and where personalised martini experience, martini diagnosis, is served.

Each formula begins with a core identity: floral, woody, animalic, mineral…

Kyara was imagined by Monica Berg and Alex Kratena; two of the most influential figures in modern bartending. Founders of London’s Tayēr + Elementary, consistently ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars, their work blends innovation with deep craftsmanship.
With Kyara, they bring their vision to Barcelona: a post-modern cocktail bar built on precision, creativity, and the art of compounding. Every detail, from the cocktails to the experience itself, is shaped by their commitment to redefining what a bar can be.

Design: Where Ritual Meets Logic
Kyara’s space is built to disorient. The bar: dark, tactile, and atmospheric: a place for rituals, shadows, and layered sound.
The Compounding Room: a stripped-back lab of glass, steel, and surgical focus. Together, they form a spatial compound.
One side mystic. One side methodical. This is design with intention, built for feeling, not posing.
